11th Meeting for the term 2013-2014 'From The Heart' (10.12.13)

Fellow Toastmasters, ladies & gentlemen,

In this Glasses themed 11th Meeting of the Term 2013-2014, I almost couldn't see anyone cause my sunglasses were blocking my view... But, the darkness of my shades couldn't stop me from seeing our

Scintillating TME Joanna Liew, ACB, CL in her sunny yellow dress and stylish sunglasses. Thank you Joanna for bringing in the sunshine into the club meeting... :))

This meeting, we have our invocator especially imported from Sabah Ports TMC. Thank you TM Afzalinah Khan for joining us!

"Instead of achieving to be happy, we should happily achieve", said TM Ananda Wong in his Speech #2.

Also in his Speech #2 TM Jeremiah Mojuntin was very enthusiastic (and serious) as he presented his act to be the saviour in the other world.

TM Emylia Phillip asked us in her Speech #4, "Are you passionate about your job?" to which most of us replied a quiet, "No....." :P

Thank you Aaron for making us realize that. I learned to appreciate and give more, to the ones who are close to my heart. Congratulations for being crowned, Competent Communicator! :))

Allow me to mention, a special thanks to our members TM Ananda Wong and Joanna Liew, ACS, CL for inviting guests from Sabah Ports TMC and all the way from Singapore TMC to not only attend our club meeting but also to play a role. :)

Our Christmas themed 12th Meeting of the Term will be a Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club & Kota Kinabalu Advanced Toastmasters Club Joint Meeting. Details are as follows:
