8th Meeting for the term 2013-2014 'From The Heart' (22.10.13)

To mentor Jasmine Leong, DTM, another graduated mentee; you must be beaming with pride! :) Thank you for being the big sister who guided Janice through her journey of becoming a CC :)

In this Halloween themed Meeting; our 8th Meeting of the Term sure ROCK! Lead by our

Effervescent Toastmaster of the Evening Nantha Kumar, CC, our typical meeting room transformed into a scary graveyard with black spiderwebs and bloodshot walls. Good job Nantha & Nora Liew for your dedication in decorating.

We have quite a few first timer guests this time... For the first time we have Batgirl!!! (Nora Liew, CC), Pocahontas (Joanna Liew, CC), 1920's Queen (Jasmine Leong, DTM), 50 Cent (Nantha Kumar, CC), The Mummy (TM Kevin Ng), The Dead-Come-Alive Senorita (TM Kamilia Kamaruzaman), Jellicle Cat (Nora Ridzwan, ACB, ALB), The Gypsy (TM Abigail of UTC), Spiderman (Amir Iskandar, Guest), Power Rangers (Muhammad Iskandar, Guest).

And in the middle of the Table Topics Session by our Abu Bakar Sheriff, DTM, in came Wolverine I mean Werewolf (TM Aaron Subash George)! We were all stunned for a whole 1 minute, before we absorbed that it was him, and we all started laughing..... Speaking of the Entrance of the Year, Aaron!!!

Oh, our meeting was also attended by a few dressed as Modern Zombies, and the leader of the pack was Yee That Hian, DTM in his long-sleeved shirt, necktie, and a smile.... Hehehehee...

This meeting, we welcomed 5 new members with cheers and applause:

In his CC1, TM Ching Jiun Woei told us about his father's love of animals and how his house is like a mini zoo. We also know that, Christine Yap, DTM can't wait to get discounts from J's Jewelry Shop! :D

Also in his ice-breaker speech, TM Bryan Liau shared with us about his path in life where, things do not go his way initially, but eventually, when he set his mind to it, he becomes a Straight A's Student. Well done Bryan :)
